Can you believe Cayden is a year old now? Before I give you all the party details, I'll let you know what's new with our little guy. His 1 year check up was the day before his birthday. He now weighs 23 pounds and 4 ounces (50-75% for weight) and is 31 and 1/2 inches (90% for height). He has grown a full 11 inches since he was born! He's doing really well. And, if you haven't checked out the picture website - he's walking now (he started that about 2-1/2 weeks before his birthday). The only bad news we received at the doctor visit was that poor Cayden's first birthday gift was an ear infection. Good thing he had his check up because I didn't even know it. He had a stuffy nose, but showed no signs that his ear was bothering him. He is such a trooper, he was acting just like himself even though he was sick. We are very lucky; with the exception of a couple short lived colds and now this ear infection, Cayden has had a very healthy first year. So, that's what's new with Cayden.
His birthday party was fun. And, he seemed to enjoy it even though he was sick. The party theme was Elmo.
