Road Trip: Last Day, part 1

Our road trip ended with Binder Zoo today.
Cayden just couldn't wait to get started!

They had a children's zoo. The goats were pretty impatient.

These pygmy goats were just the right size for Cayden.

"Cheese!"

"Whoa!"

"Moo!"

We got to ride the little (emphasis on little) train.

And the carousel

And, the best part of the zoo, we got to feed the giraffes!!

Looking for more animals with his "noc-a-lers"

Checking out the map on the tram ride, got to make sure we didn't miss anything.
All tuckered out.

Still checking out the map in the car on the way home.

We are finally home. It was a very fun trip! We saw so many beautiful places. I absolutely loved both zoos we visited. They were both like parks with stops along the way to see some animals, not like the zoos I'm used to. And, Mackinac was gorgeous - even the drive up there was nice.
And, somehow, even Frankenmuth was pretty - it managed to be touristy without being over the top. Yep, it was all nice. Like Jay said on the drive home, "there wasn't a dud in the bunch." But, as with all road trips, it's nice to be home and out of the car!
